Green chemistry, not a green wash.

Orion Eco Solutions was founded in 2017 by Tim Jevons on a simple argument: many of the chemicals used to keep buildings “clean” are outdated and unnecessarily toxic. The alternative is not a weaker product. It is a different mechanism — light, nanostructure, surface energy — that keeps working after the bottle is put away.

Claims are supported with documented test data, including independent work with the British Institute of Cleaning Science. InvisiGard™ is accredited to ISO 27447.

01 · InvisiGard™

Photocatalysis

Titanium dioxide, at about two percent in water, sits as an invisible film. Photons — from the sun or from ordinary indoor lighting — kick electrons in the TiO₂ lattice and generate hydroxyl radicals. Those radicals oxidise organic molecules: microbes, VOCs, soiling. The products are ordinary, small, harmless species.

That is why a treated wall can keep the air immediately above it quieter, and why the daily clean becomes a wipe rather than a chemical event. ISO 27447 is the photocatalytic antibacterial method we cite.

02 · Griphene™

Graphene at the surface

Graphene is a single-atom sheet of carbon. In a coating it is not armour in the comic-book sense. It is a way to change friction, hardness and barrier behaviour at a thickness the eye does not read as a film. Griphene™ uses that to add grip and protection without a grit paint or a gloss varnish.

Specify it only on mineral-based substrates: stone, concrete, marble, ceramic. Stairs, floors, paving — not timber, metal, vinyl or glass.

03 · Washless™

Self-cleaning, ultra-low adhesion

Soiling is a contact problem. If the surface energy is managed so that dust, soot, pollen and biological film cannot wet or key into the substrate, they do not stay. Washless™ is that decision, made as a coating — self-cleaning without photocatalysis.

Rain and a light rinse carry what little remains. The saving is in the diary of whoever has to keep a surface looking as specified — glass, metal, stone, paint, or composite.
